Ebenezer Botchey is a registered architect, project manager, and construction engineer with a robust track record in architectural design and project management. Based in Ghana, he has been serving as the Principal Architect and Project Manager at Reform Realty Ltd in Achimota, Accra, since 2015. His expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of competencies, including architectural design, construction, landscaping, contract negotiations, sustainable design, and client relations, all of which he integrates to ensure project success.
Botchey previously worked as an architect and project manager for AESL and Multibuild in Maryland, USA, from 2014 to 2015, as well as Arch Portfolio Ltd in Accra from 2012 to 2014. His foundational experience was garnered during his tenure as a Junior Architect at the KNUST Development Office in Kumasi, Ghana, between 2011 and 2012.
Throughout his career, Botchey has demonstrated a strong ability to lead construction projects from inception to completion. He skillfully coordinates cross-functional teams, maintaining strict compliance with construction codes and ensuring that design forecasts align with project requirements. His financial acumen is evident in his management of project costs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while delivering high-quality results.
Botchey received his postgraduate diploma in Architecture (PGD) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the same institution. Additionally, he has undergone project management professional training at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
His notable projects include the design and construction of the Action Chapel International in Accra (2020) and a four-storey mixed-use facility at Mile 7, Accra (2019). He has also managed significant renovations, such as the Tsarley Korpey Beach Resort (2017), NIB Bank (2014), and the American International School in East Legon, Accra (2015).
Botchey is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Ghana Institute of Architects (Reg. No. 1043), the Architects Registration Council (Reg. No. 1037), and the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET). He is also a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), currently working on qualifications for the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and holds the LEED Green Associate® credential.
